The Fight Food Waste CRC aims to improve the competitiveness, productivity and sustainability of the Australian food industry – saving Australia $36.6 billion per annum; it will reduce food waste, increase industry profitability, and improve food rescue to deliver economic, social, and environmental benefits for Australia.


iMove CRC’s mission is to advance the development and adoption of technologies that improve Australia’s transport systems.
iMOVE is the national centre for transport and smart mobility R&D in Australia. They manage multi-party collaborations to use technology and data to improve the sustainable movement of people and goods.

Soil CRC is bringing together scientists, industry and farmers to find practical solutions for Australia’s underperforming soils.

crcCARE is a partnership of organisations dedicated to developing new ways of dealing with and preventing contamination of soil, water and air including solid and liquid waste management. CRC-REP

The Cooperative Research Centre for Remote Economic Participation (CRC-REP) 2010–2017 was focused on delivering solutions to the economic challenges that affect remote Australia. Through our research, we provided practical responses to the complex issues that can restrict full economic participation.

AutoCRC

AutoCRC Ltd was the company that conducts both the automotive technology research program of Automotive Australia 2020 CRC (AA2020CRC) and the business capability improvement program of Automotive Supplier Excellence Australia (ASEA). It worked with the Australian automotive and related industries from 2005, focused on activities that drive innovation, efficiency and productivity for organisations and ultimately that benefit the Australian economy.

Vision CRC produced promising contact lens and spectacle lens technologies for myopia control, a prototype material to ‘cure’ presbyopia, technologies for eye surgery, significantly advanced understanding of ocular health, delivered professional education to thousands of practitioners and eye care personnel, conducted crucial research into the delivery of eye care to people in need and educated over 100 postgraduate research students.

The Engineering Learning Hub enhances the pathway to engineering degree courses from TAFE and schools. The project included Advanced Visualisation Theatres combining 3D and virtual reality simulation technology.
$30m of Commonwealth funding was secured under the Commonwealth Government’s Education Investment Fund

His mission is to facilitate and enable the creation and translation of knowledge that can benefit society and the economy. Steven is passionate about bridging the gap between academia, industry, and government, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence..
